On August 14, 2025, the Catholic Bishops of Kansas, in commemoration of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, released a pastoral letter on immigration. Archbishop Shawn McKnight, Bishop Carl Kemme, and Bishop Gerald Vincke affirmed the inherent dignity of every person, inspiring us to embrace compassion, justice, and solidarity in our support for immigrants and refugees.
At Donnelly College, we join the Kansas Bishops in our dedication to creating an inclusive and safe environment that respects the dignity of all, treating each person as if they were Christ (Matthew 25:40) and enabling every student to achieve their full potential.

El 14 de agosto de 2025, los Obispos Católicos de Kansas, en conmemoración de San Maximiliano Kolbe, publicaron una carta pastoral sobre la inmigración. El Arzobispo Shawn McKnight, el Obispo Carl Kemme y el Obispo Gerald Vincke afirmaron la dignidad inherente de cada persona, inspirándonos a abrazar la compasión, la justicia y la solidaridad en nuestro apoyo a los inmigrantes y refugiados.
