Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is open to all DC students regardless of religious background and seeks to meet all students’ spiritual needs.

Sponsored by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, our ministry is based in prayer, scripture study and worship, as well as individual care and guidance, advocacy, catechesis, community celebrations, evangelization and social justice activities.

In addition, Donnelly offers Mass on campus several times a week. Mass is a great way to take a peaceful, spiritual break from your classes, assignments and other responsibilities. If you just need a quiet break, stop in for a moment in the Prayer Room/Campus Ministry Room (room 212) — both are always open and stocked with inspiring books.

The Month of November
All Saints/ All Souls

(1) The Solemnity All Saints (November 1). On this day we celebrate the countless “saints” in heaven; those who have fought the good fight, and now celebrate in the Kingdom of Heaven.  This is a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholic Christians. Catholics are expected to attend Holy Mass on this day.

(2) Commemoration of All Souls (November 2). On this day we remember the Souls in Purgatory, and indeed all our beloved deceased. While this is not  a Holy day of Obligation, Catholics are nonetheless encouraged to attend Holy Mass on this day.
