KANSAS CITY, Kan., September 24, 2014—Donnelly College will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for a four-way community partnership on Wednesday, October 1.

The College joined with Jobs for America’s Graduates, the Kansas City Kansas Public School District and Gateway to College to equip Wyandotte County students to be college and career ready. “There is intentional collaboration with sustainable partnerships that provides holistic student support in innovative teaching and learning approaches,” said Juan Rangel, Director of Gateway to College at Donnelly. “It is an inroad to higher education. We are seeking highly motivated, committed students who want to get a jump on their future.”

Representatives from the organizations will be on hand for the ceremony, which is open to the public. The ribbon cutting will take place in Donnelly’s Community Event Center at 3:45 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided at the event’s conclusion.
