Celebrating Culture and Community: Donnelly College’s Multicultural Festival 2025

On October 14, 2025, Donnelly College once again brought its campus to life with vibrant colors, rhythmic beats, and the rich aromas of international cuisine during its Multicultural Festival. Held from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, this event showcased the incredible diversity of the Donnelly community and celebrated the many cultures represented by its students, faculty, and staff.

Located in the heart of Kansas City, Kansas, Donnelly College is known for its inclusive community and ethnically diverse student body. The Multicultural Festival offered students a space to proudly share their heritage through food, music, dance, and storytelling.

This year’s festival featured:

Cultural Booths: Students set up displays representing countries from around the globe, offering insights into traditions, languages, and customs.

International Cuisine: Attendees sampled homemade dishes from Latin America, Asia, Africa, Europe and the USA—each bite telling a story of heritage and hospitality.

Live Performances: A traditional dance and an original song were performed by Donnelly students. The performers lit up the stage in vibrant cultural attire, showcasing routines preserved and passed down through generations.

More than just a celebration, the Multicultural Festival is a reflection of Donnelly College’s mission to empower students from all backgrounds and foster a sense of global citizenship. It’s a day where differences are not only acknowledged but embraced, creating a tapestry of unity through diversity.

Whether you’re a student, alum, or community member, the Multicultural Festival is a reminder of the beauty that comes from sharing our stories and learning from one another.
