Congratulations! You have just graduated with your associate degree and now you are thinking about your next step. We hope you choose one of Donnelly's bachelor's degree options, but perhaps you are looking for a program we don't have. Our academic advisors are specialists at helping students reach their educational goals, either at Donnelly or by transferring earned college credit to another institution to take the next step in their academic career. Check to see if your credits from other institutions will transfer to Donnelly, or if your Donnelly credits will transfer to other institutions. It's recommended that you visit with your Academic Advisor and Registrar and your current and transfer institution to verify this information and see what else may transfer.
Transfer Program Spotlights
Associate Degree Grads Transfer to University of St. Mary with a Scholarship
Donnelly has an agreement with the University of St. Mary allowing any Donnelly graduate with an AA or AS degree to transfer to University of St. Mary in junior standing. University of St. Mary will also waive the application fee as well as provide a $2,000, three-year renewable scholarship to the University of St. Mary main campus, or a 10% reduction to their Overland Park campus for those that transfer within six months of associate degree completion. Pre-Engineering Program with UMKC
Pathways to Engineering Careers (PEC) is a cooperative program of Donnelly College and the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC). The PEC program is designed for students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering at UMKC. Admitted students would enroll at Donnelly in a structured pre-engineering program that will transfer seamlessly into UMKC’s School of Computing and Engineering. Teacher Education - 2+2 Program with Emporia State University
Donnelly has an agreement with Emporia State University that allows students to complete two years at Donnelly plus two years at Emporia State (Johnson County location) to earn a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Check with you academic advisor for details.
Teacher Education - 2+2 Program with Park University
Donnelly has an agreement with Park University that allows students to complete an Associate of Arts degree at Donnelly plus two years at Park to earn a bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on either Elementary Education, Middle School Education, Secondary Education, K-12 Art or Spanish or K-12 Mild-Moderate Cross Categorical Special Education.
