Courses I Teach:
Introduction to Philosophy
History of Philosophy (Classical and Modern)
My education and teaching career has two parts. The first began in my country of origins, Paraguay, where I studied Philosophy and began working and teaching at the Catholic University of Asuncion until 1990. After emigrating with my family to the United States in 1991, I began the second part of my journey, studying, and teaching at the University of Kansas where I obtained my doctorate in 1996. Since then, I continued teaching at different levels, mainly in institutions of the State of Kansas. Yet, in 1998, I worked as a Consul General of Paraguay to the State of Kansas, for three years. Today, I still hold the position but with emeritus status which give me plenty of time to dedicate to the passion of my life: teaching and writing.
