Bio:
Dr. Melissa Lenos is coauthor (with Michael Ryan) of An Introduction to Film Analysis: Technique and Meaning in Narrative Film. Her writing has appeared in Cinema Journal: In Focus, AnTENNA and In Media Res; she is also a regular contributor for KCUR. Her research interests include narratology and English and media studies pedagogy. 

Fun Fact: 
Dr. Lenos lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband and one very small cat.
