Donnelly has always taken a different approach to our tuition strategy. And based on the national attention college costs have received this year, never have we stood apart so clearly. Not only is our private, annual tuition purposely kept within reach (under $6,000 this year), it also stretches your donations to help more students.
Often, an average Donnelly scholarship of $800 is all that's needed to bridge the gap of education expenses and keep a college dream alive. Our low tuition exemplifies the need for Annual Fund support, helping us modestly maintain a vibrant environment that promotes student success. With your generous gift, you are helping Donnelly students reach their dreams – and transform their lives.
We could not carry out our faith driven mission of increasing college access and student success without your kind and generous support!

The number of traditional age students on Donnelly's campus is increasing, and Cecibel from Marshall, MO, is a member of our very active freshman class. She participates in many student groups, including soccer, library club and her favorite, Campus Ministry. She wouldn't be able to live on campus and study theology without your support! |

After Stanley earned Master's Degrees in computer engineering and business management, he still felt unfulfilled in his career. He felt called to dedicate his life to nursing and joined our practical nursing program this fall. Stan loves to have deep conversations, attend Mass on campus and be a student ambassador for Donnelly. With his megawatt smile, Stan says: "Thank you for helping make my dreams a reality." |

Jennifer, from KCK, works hard to earn top grades, maintain her Henry W. Bloch Scholarship and pursue a bachelor's degree. Jennifer works on and off campus, goes to school full-time and still finds time to give back to her community. As a financially savvy student, she lives with a family member close to campus, saves her pennies by couponing, and picks up extra shifts to pay for school. |

"…I love working with the student inmates – I think it actually does more to fulfill me. I am so impressed with their desire to transform their lives." Lanny Bachtle, Donnelly's 2011 Volunteer of the Year, has been volunteering at Donnelly's satellite campus at Lansing Correctional Facility since its inception in 2001, and has a 40-year history of volunteering in prison ministry and mentoring. |

"...We owe so much of our success to Donnelly and our faith compels us to help sustain this mission." Our 2011 Donors of the Year, Phil ('62) & Mary Jo Doherty, embody the notion of sharing their gifts so that Donnelly students can develop theirs. Their involvement spans from volunteering to paint, lead the alumni association, serve on committees, and introduce new people to Donnelly. Most recently, they created The Phillip & Mary Jo Doherty Endowed Scholarship, in part to inspire others to get involved. |

"…We believe there is too much untapped human potential, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the curiosity and perseverance of the students at Donnelly College.” Burns & McDonnell, the 2011 Donnelly College Partner of the Year, helped re-launch and revision our four-semester Pre-Engineering program that began this fall. Numerous engineers donated hours of curriculum planning, guest lecturing, and talent development strategic thinking, including those pictured here, Chris Baxter, Mike Fenske (Donnelly Trustee) and Joel DeBoer.
