CMA, Adjunct Instructors
Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse with CMA, CNA Instructor’s License,
or 1-2 years in a long-term setting to qualify for CMA, CNA Instructors
License. Instructor must possess good communications skills, be
able to work with a group of diverse students, be able to handle
situations that may arise in the classroom and in a clinical setting.
Job Duties:
Lecture in a classroom setting, observe students in a lab setting
related to demonstration of bathing, bed making, blood pressures,
pulse and respiration. Faculty will demonstrate proper lifting
techniques and observe students lifting and turning residents
in a lab setting. Instructor will also observe student in an off
site clinical setting.

HHA
Adjunct Instructors
Qualifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse with 2-3 years Home Health experience.
Instructor’s License,
or 1-2 years in a long-term setting to qualify for CMA, CNA, HHA.
Instructors License. Instructor must possess good observation
and communications skills, be able to work with a group of diverse
students, be able to handle situations that may arise in the classroom.
Job Duties:
Lecture in a classroom setting, adapt clinical and emergency skills
to home settings. Be able to observe students who assist clients
with medications in a home setting. Assist students as they learn
documentation of appropriate client care plan.
