Career Center Fashion Show

Where: Donnelly College's Meeting Room
Who: Students, faculty and staff
What: Donnelly's Career Center organized a fashion show, demonstrating what-to-wear and what-not-to-wear to a job interview. Student participated as the models for the show, and faculty members discussed important career topics such as interviewing skills. There was also a tie-tying contest and mock interviews.

What: Economics and social science instructor Steve Modrcin gave a lecture to students and faculty members discussing the current status of the economy. He explained the bailout and the definition of a recession. Modrcin will be giving this lecture again on Thursday, November 6, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Donnelly's first floor meeting room.
ESL & Prep Ed Picnic

Who: Students, faculty and staff
What: Students and staff from Donnelly's English as a Second Language (ESL) and Preparatory Education programs spent the day at Antioch Park. Many students and staff members brought a cultural dish to share, making the picnic an international feast!
Panamanian Dancers Come to Donnelly

What: In honor of Hispanic History Month, Donnelly welcomed a group of Panamanian Dancers to perform a traditional dance as well as teach the students, faculty, staff and guests about the rich history and culture of Panama.
Second Annual Scholarship Dinner

Where: Jack Reardon Civic Center
Who: Donnelly alumni, friends, faculty and staff
What: The college hosted the Scholarship Dinner to honor the Benedictine Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica. The event was a huge success, raising more than $100,000 towards the creation of a Benedictine Sisters Endowed Scholarship Fund. Click here to view the full article...
Donnelly's Open House Event

Who: Alumni, friends, students, faculty and staff
What: Donnelly held an Open House event on campus to show off some of their most recent changes. New portraits of past graduating classes fill the halls, as well as a beautiful new tribute to the Benedictine Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica. Guests were also invited to mingle with the sisters and meet the new college's new president, Dr. Steven M. LaNasa.
Student Soccer Team vs. Donnelly Faculty

Who: Student soccer club team and faculty
What: Donnelly's own soccer club geared up for their season by playing the faculty! Despite a valiant effort the faculty lost to the soccer club team, giving up a coveted trophy.
Fall 2008 Back-to-School Picnic
When: Wednesday, August 27

What: This pirate-themed soiree invited students to discover the treasures of Donnelly by navigating their way through a treasure map around campus. When a student successfully completed the task on the map, they obtained a golden token from a faculty member. Once a student had collected enough tokens, they received a free lunch!
