Entrance Counseling

Before Donnelly can disburse your Federal Stafford Loan (subsidized or unsubsidized), regulations require that you complete an entrance counseling session. The counseling session provides information about how to manage your student loans, both during and after college.

The session takes about 25 minutes, on average. You will need the following information in order to complete this session:

• Your Social Security number
• Your driver's license number (if applicable)

You may also need the following:

• Names, addresses, phone numbers, and employers of your next of kin and/or parent
• Name, address, phone number, and employer of your spouse (if applicable)
• Names, addresses, phone numbers, and employers of two references residing at different addresses
