Thank you for supporting Donnelly College’s Third Annual Scholarship Dinner held on September 26, 2009, at the Jack Reardon Convention Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

We celebrated Donnelly’s 60 years of taking “The Road Less Traveled” in higher education and honored the Archbishops of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas who helped Donnelly reach this milestone. We also presented a permanent tribute to Bishop George J. Donnelly and Archbishops Edward J. Hunkeler, Ignatius J. Strecker, James P. Keleher and Joseph F. Naumann. We had a record number of 340 guests, as well as nearly 50 students present, making the event a wonderful networking opportunity for them.

This year’s Scholarship Dinner raised more than $126,000 to create the Archbishops Endowed Scholarship Fund and support student scholarships to assist students in reaching their potential through a college education.

With your support, we hope to make this event even better to serve more students. Planning is already underway for the 2010 dinner; if you’d like to be involved, please contact Laura Bryon at (913) 621-8752.

The dinner also kicked off a full year of 60th anniversary events – please see our calendar of events. We hope you can join us again! If you haven’t had a chance to see our mission in action, we invite you to visit Donnelly’s growing campus. Please call us at (913) 621-8752 to arrange your visit.
